One Form Of Charity Is To Give Gifts
Gift increases love, affection and intimacy among people in social life; It is an important sunnah that removes resentment and distances between them. Giving complimentary gifts, especially according to the needs, curiosity and desires of people, is a means of both worldly and otherworldly gains.
"You Cannot Reach True Goodness Unless You Give Infaq"
Allah said in Quran: “You will never attain righteousness until you spend out of what you love (in the way of Allah). Allah knows whatever you spend." 1
Giving gifts is the sunnah and advice of the Prophet. The Prophet, who was beloved by his Companions, both accepted the gifts received and presented them personally. In fact, it was seen that he gave the gift that was given to him, based on his needs and demands, to another person immediately. The following is stated in hadiths:
"Exchange gifts, as that will lead to increasing your love to another"2
